About Nova Mobility Consulting

Nova Mobility Consulting is a Mainz-based consultancy for rail and public transport organisations that want to use AI in their everyday work and take it into production without compromising on security, data privacy or verification. It was founded in 2019 as a strategy and business-development advisory for the rail industry, and has grown into what it is now by building the systems it used to advise on.

Raphael Santos Cavalcanti

Raphael has spent fifteen years in rail and public transport across Europe, Asia and North America — in project management, bid management, strategy, engineering and product, and business development — for operators, suppliers and infrastructure managers. He has led bids for rail suppliers, shaped product roadmaps for rail electronics companies, run OT-cybersecurity roadmaps, and advised operators on digitalisation of asset management. Since 2025 he has built the agentic systems described on this site.

He has lived in eight countries, works in five languages, and is based in Mainz.
